6000 Calories of Glutony...and for no particular reason
jessica • January 9, 2010
I’m all for gluttony (as can be seen in this photo) when there’s good reason behind it but agreeing to eat 6000 calories in one day without justification, and without a guarantee of good food, that just seems absurd. Then again I’m not a male journalist for the Vancouver Sun named Pete McMartin. Perhaps he’s a little less picky about his gluttonous escapades. If I ever agree to eat 6000 calories in one day I’d at least like to know the restaurants ahead of time, and being the curious sort that I am I think I’d also need to know why I was doing it. By no means am I against this kind of human experiment, but if I were to be the subject there'd be a few parameters.Check out Pete's full account of his 6000 calorie day: "Man overboard: A day drowning in calories" http://ow.ly/UCRG
...and why is The Keg being so secretive about what their ribs look like? Very curious.
